The Evolution of Occupation into Inspiration
Sitting in the belly of Enchanted Rock, I recieved a powerful message, so powerfully true, and repeated so often, that it is now a cliche and almost meaningless, because of the scarily huge life changing message it truly conveys.
BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD
For the first 3 weeks of the Occupation, I was living at City Hall, mediating conflicts between protesters, policeman, city officials, enraged alcoholics, mentally ill people, longtime homeless vets, anarchist tech-geeks, Alex Jones loving Illuminati paranoists, infiltrating agent-provacateurs, and all other sorts of amazing and "normal" family & business people that showed up at the Occupation.
Becoming a mediator and spiritual psychologist was all very well & interesting and seemed very important. Daily I was peering deeply into this huge array of humanity that I had never dealt with before and trying to bring them some peace and self-love, while regularly meeting with some very nice governmental folks in City Hall to mediate conflicts on the bigger Occupation level, and befriending police officers I had previsouly distrusted. But being constantly immersed in solving the problems of the Occupation took its toll, and became a total drag after dealing with it non-stop week after week, 24/7.
Enchanted Rock/God setup a kidnapping from the Occupation by my magical best friend Juniper & some grey-haired Earth Shamans, in order to recenter and inspire my path. In the womb of this crystalline earth pyramid (at 30 degrees latitude, on the same line as the great pyramid of Giza) I realized that I had to start living, exemplifying, and demonstrating the solution to this whole mess that the collective human mind has chosen to get our bodies into.
I have always been inspired by the Truth in this Buckminster Fuller quote: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete"
There are two models of activism: Reactive, and Creative. Both are completely vital to evolution, and people can also choose to participate in both. Reactive activism is chaining yourself to a tree to keep it from being cut down, occupying a city square to highlight the injustices of economics, even storming the streets and overthrowing a dictator. All of these are ways of Life's defense systems waking up and saying, " STOP!! THIS BULLSHIT CANNOT GO ON ANY LONGER!!" It is a reaction to something we dont want to happen.
Being a reactive activist is a necessary defense mechanism that Life has developed in order to put an end to abusive and destructive viruses that plague its health. Expansive plagues whose only command is to GROW AND CONSUME: cancer, greedy unchecked capitalism, and American economic imperialism are some forms of Life Cancer.
Realize this fact, WE AMERICANS FEED THE CANCER OF EARTH simply by participating in an culture whose #1 GOAL IS TO GROW AND GROW AND NEVER STOP GROWING OUR ECONOMY. We depend upon the oil economy, we depend upon the corporate economy, and we depend upon the global economy, EVEN THOUGH IT KILLS AND HARMS LIFE. The#1 goal of the mega-corporations and government that we monetarily participate in is TO GROW AND GROW AND CONSUME EVERY DOLLAR THAT THE "LESSAR MORTALS" HAVE. AND WHEN WE THEY RUN OUT OF MONEY, THEY TELL OUR GOVERNMENT TO JUST PRINT MORE FOR THEM!!
In the reality that 1% of the greediest bastards on Earth created and want you to believe in (and most people do), every FedNote you have in your account is DEBT, since supposedly all of us owe $48,000 as our share of the current American debt ($15,000,000,000,000). My 11 day year old son is already $48,000 in debt, allegedly, to help keep this system of ridiculous greed intact.
All of this is to say that we live on an illusory cloud of Fednotes(debt) that makes us believe if we keep working our jobs and consuming goods in this oil-dependant economy that the government has so wisely crafted (for the top 1%), we'll be fine! Well duh, we all know this is bogus, and to me, Occupations all over America only exist to highlight the bogusness of the system we live in. Occupy is Life's defense system waking up anti-bodies (protesters) and vigilantly alerting everyone to the fact that THIS SYSTEM IS FUCKING UP LIFE WAY TOO MUCH AND WEVE GOTTA HEAL IT ASAP!!!!!
So finally, how do we heal it? How do we educate and awaken the people who are destroying people and planet for profit (Us)? What system can we create that will make oil-dependant corporate controlled governance obsolete? And what can we do about it RIGHT NOW!!!?
From where you sit at your computer this moment, breathe deeply in Love, and thank GOD for everything you have. On the exhale (heres the hard part) LOVE HUMANS for the current drama we have created, especially the humans you blame the most for "fucking this place up". The positive and negative are necessary poles in the dense reality we live in, and the Koch brothers, Rockefellers, Illuminati, Bush's, Obamas, and anybody else you despise is truly as much a projection of God as you are. Now, just because these God-projections are acting like total assholes, life-haters, and evil geniuses doesn't mean that we can't love them, it just means we've got to tap in WAY DEEPER THAN EVER BEFORE TO GOD and access the TRUE source of power that is INFINITELY MORE NECESSARY THAN MONEY.
#1 (on the what to do now list) - LOVE!!! Love your thoughts, your body, and your life! And then stop blaming anyone else for the "problems in the world", and realize that this reality is the co-creation of the human mind. You helped bring this reality into existence, and you still aid its existence. It is beautiful and awful and glorious and wretched and blissfull and despicable. Thats what we chose to experience, and some "evil" actors have carried out their roles perfectly to give us the experience of anger, hate, and heartbreak.
I assume at some point in the Heavens when we were all unified in total love-bliss-light communion with God, it got boring, and we chose to embark upon this whole mystical mess of materialization. Realize you co-create reality every day with your choices, and it is time to whole-heartedly support an upgraded reality. An example: each day when you buy gas, you aid the cancer of the oil industry. I chose to buy an ethanol conversion kit, and starting tomorrow (God willing the mechanic will install it) I can begin using 100% ethanol in my volvo and end my relationship with gasoline. I am researching how to make a still and harness free crops to use in production of my own home based ethanol operation for long-term sustainability as well. (Donations and help are welcome ;) All change in incremental, and serves our evolution.
#2 - The Evolution of Occupation is LOCALIZED LOVE BASED COMMUNITIES.
Once we realize that we are all here to serve LOVE, the conscious spirit which created and energizes all of this (under the code-name of God, Jehovah, Allah, Universe, Great Spirit, the Vacuum, Krishna or whatever you like), then we begin to unite as people to expand the power and living Truth of Love. Thats why I started the BhaktiChurch, aka Church of Love; to energize ourselves in LOVE through singing Gods Name in many languages, and co-creating from a unified state of love-based action.
In regards to Occupy, weve got to evolveOccupyAmerica to become Inspire America, and demonstrate the example of how humans can LOVE LIFE MORE THAN MONEY and thrive in abundance doing so. T
